The Class of 1990 Patriot Scholarship Rules

​

The graduating class of 1990 from Parkview Fine Arts Magnet High School is pleased to announce that they are offering a scholarship to an outstanding graduating senior of the class of 2018.  The recipient will be chosen by a panel selected by the Parkview Class of 1990 Scholarship Committee. Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must meet the following criteria:

1. Must have attended Parkview all four years (9th – 12th)

2. Copy of acceptance letter to the college or university of their choice

3. GPA of at least 3.5

4. Must not have any suspensions or negative marks on their record while attending Parkview

5. 3 letters of recommendation. Two from faculty members at Parkview and one from a non-relative, such as a community or business leader that the student knows.

6. Submit a 350 word typed essay on why going to Parkview Fine Arts/Science Magnet High School was important to you, how it helped you succeed, and what are your plans for college.  

 

All entries must be turned in to your counselor no later than April 13, 2018.  The recipient will be announced May 5, 2018.
